A word about the stars

Star ratings are from you, the audience. I (Rod Gammon) add links that I find interesting, but I don't rate them. But you can. The more stars you click, the better you think it is. Click away!

Welcome to Rod Gammon's educational resource list

Aloha, I'm an education professional and this website collects links that I have found useful. For kicks, I decided I'd make it public and see if anyone else found it useful too.

What am I interested in? Mostly the intersection of language learning and technology; right now especially mLearning instructional design and general eLearning analytics. My home page contains a proper blog and porfolio. You can find my career profile on LinkedIn-- it can be summed up as Chinese and English second language teaching with a software engineering twist.

Currently I am the Associate Manager of ELT Digital Publishing at Cambridge University Press' North America branch. I also hold a Ph.D. in Chinese languages (University of Hawai'i) and my dissertation was a 2,000+ line spider that collected Mandarin newspapers and translated them. I am based in the New York metro area but love to travel, especially if it involves teacher training.
